Late Shri K.S. Varadarajan & Smt. Parvathi Varadarajan
Sri Varada Academy is built on a legacy of education that spans over five decades.
In 1971, Late Shri K.S. Varadarajan — one of India’s earliest cost accountants (ICWAI membership #161) and a Fellow of the British Teaching Institute, London — founded Alpha Systems Coaching Center in Chennai. What started with 5 students grew into a landmark institution known for providing free education and hostel facilities to students from underprivileged backgrounds. He never accumulated personal wealth, famously saying:
“My eight children are my assets.”
Today, his grandson Shreeram carries that mission forward through Sri Varada Academy — combining his grandfather’s belief in accessible education with modern technology and strategic partnerships to guide students across the world toward the right college and career path.
Our Founder
Shreeram Shankar J — Founder & Director
An operations and management professional with 18+ years of experience across education, logistics, and customer relations. His career in education began at Kayesvee Educations — his grandfather’s institution — and spans leadership roles including Admin Head at an IB World School. He founded Sri Varada Academy to carry forward his family’s five-decade legacy of making quality education accessible to all.
